MEET THE BISHOP

My name is Bishop Dr James M. Gachengo married to Rev Martha N Mugo and together God has blessed us with 4 children. We live in Nyeri, Kenya.

By the grace of God, I am the Presiding Bishop of PRIME MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL (PMI) “The Family Church” which has several branches in Kenya enjoying tremendous growth since its inception in 2014.

The church has a unique mandate of Reconciling Man to God, Man to Self & Man to Man.

As the Lead Minister, I host a weekly “Reconciliation Times” program on the National & Regional Televisions.

Every Sunday we have two services aired live on Facebook.

I am a Certified Mediator with the Judiciary of Kenya, a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Theology from Landmark Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas, and a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling and a Doctorate in Theology from New Life Bible College and Seminary.

I also excelled in my career as a clinician with a bachelor's Degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery with a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Kenyatta University after pursuing Clinical Medicine & Surgery and a specialty in Skin & Chest Medicine which I have practiced privately to date. I faithfully served the Kenya Government as a Civil Servant for 21 years after which I resigned to pursue my God-given mandate in 2014 as a pastor.

I have traveled to all the continents except Australia preaching the Gospel and as a career person. I also serve our community in different capacities.

I am the coordinator of all Bishops & Pastors in Evangelical & Ecumenical Councils in Nyeri County & Mt Kenya Region.
